On October 26th, the Village of Harrison submitted a WisDOT TAP Grant application for the design and construction of the Old Highway Road Trail.
This trail section would be the 1st new trail construction to the proposed High Cliff Connection Corridor. The trail would provide immediate connectivity to the existing off-road Lake Park Road Trail on the west end and the off-road State Friendship Trail on the east end. In lieu of the existing bike lanes, an off-road facility would provide a safe, off-road multi-modal facility for bicyclists and pedestrians alike for the 1.8 mile stretch.
Awardees are anticipated to be notified in Spring 2024.
