As part of an integral link of the High Cliff Connection and an important local trail connecting neighborhoods, the Village of Sherwood submitted a grant application for WisDNR Stewardship/ Recreational Trail Program grants on May 1st. The project will update the trail with improved surfacing and will include improvements that will update accessibility and safety. The Village hopes to hear in September if the grant is awarded. The Village is currently designing the improvements.
