The Water Street Trail is a new half-mile connector trail in the City of Menasha. It parallels the
Fox River navigation channel providing an off-street connection between the Trestle Trail and
Loop the Little Lake with Downtown Menasha. After crossing Tayco Street it transitions to the
Menasha River Walk up to the Racine Street Bridge.
The new trail opened in the Spring of 2025 with the celebration of Arbor Day. The community
participated in planting nearly 100 trees along Canal Commons creating a new green corridor
along the waterfront. More recently benches and historical markers have been added as well as
landscaping.
This trail is another connecting trail into the future High Cliff Connection trail.
