On September 10, 2025, both the Village of Harrison and the Village of Sherwood were awarded Wisconsin DNR grants for their applications for segments of the High Cliff Connection corridor.
Harrison’s application was to help fund the construction of the Old Highway Road Trail and they were awarded $160,000 for the project’s construction. The project is planned for construction in 2027.
Sherwood’s application was to help fund the rehabilitation of the existing Pigeon Road Trail and they were awarded $185,440. Teh project is planned for construction in 2026.
